Marquette County Mom Prom

Historic Masonic Ballroom in Downtown Marquette

What Is Mom Prom?

The mission of Marquette County Mom Prom is to prove that when women in a community come together to help one another, big things can happen.

Each year, a different family, individual or non-profit organization is selected to receive the proceeds of our event. That recipient will then be able to show thanks and give back by assisting in the selection of the following years' recipient. Mom Prom is expected to "pay it forward" for many years to come.

The event features dancing, cocktails, delicious food, a silent auction and a chance to win amazing prizes provided by local businesses. Guests are encouraged to wear old prom gowns, bridesmaid dresses, wedding gowns and/or anything that makes a girl feel fabulous.

Update, January 2020

Marquette County Mom Prom began in 2015 with the purpose of helping a little girl named Ainlsey. Over the years, the event grew immensely and thanks to our many generous supporters (like you!) it resulted in raising over ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS for local families in need. Sadly, the event came full circle last year when the proceeds were again named in Ainsley’s honor, but this time, in her memory. Because of this, our volunteer-led committee has decided to step back from organizing the event in 2020. We hope you understand our decision and respect our choice to part ways with an event which started and ended with such a special little girl.
